Sipas gazetarit Elton Qyno, njëri nga personat e shpallur në kërkim nga prokuroria e Elbasanit si person i dyshuar në “Sigurimin e kushteve dhe mjeteve materiale për të kryer vrasje”, është Ederin Çaushi 36-vjeç nga qyteti i Lushnjës.

Ky i fundot ka dalë nga Shqipëria disa kohë më parë dhe besohet ndodhet në Shtetet e Bashkuara të Amerikës.

Për Çaushin, Artan Tafani është shprehur para hetuesve se ai lidhje shoqërore me Laert Haxhiun, dhe e ka ndihmuar për të siguruar armë dhe makinën, me qëllim vrasjen e Rexhep Ginës.

Rexhep Gina, ka qënë anëtar i bandës së Lushnjës dhe rezulton i dënuar me 10 vite burgim nga Gjykata e Krimeve të Rënda në Tiranë.
