Gjovalin Guri, who has been declared wanted after allegedly killing his uncle and injuring his cousin in Dukagjin, has spoken from the escape denying the accusations about the incident.

According to Gjovalin Guri, at the time when the incident happened, he was hiding in his house and found out about the murder through a phone call.

The police suspect that the serious incident happened after a conflict that started for years between the family, for the use of a forest space.

Gjovalin Guri did not accept this version of the police, saying that 12 years ago he no longer deals with the use of the forest.

He also denied the accusations of cultivating cannabis.

In an interview with the media, Gjovalin Guri has asked the state to do justice and drop the charges, as he calls himself innocent and that he has nothing to do with the charges that have been brought against him either for the murder or the cultivation of cannabis./ CNA
