An international drug-trafficking network has been busted in Ancona, Italy during Operation Double Game. During the police action, 12 people were arrested, but in total there are 22 under investigation.
According to foreign media, 700 kilograms of hashish and 50 kilograms of cocaine, which has a market value of 35 million euros, were seized as part of the operation.
Among the arrested persons are 3 Albanians and 8 Italian couriers. Another Italian citizen has been placed under "house arrest". The latter is accused of being an associate of a criminal organization.
Meanwhile, arrest warrants were executed against 3 Albanian citizens who were extradited from Albania, Belgium and Spain.
