Donald Trump's former vice president, Mike Pence, has suspended his campaign to become the Republican presidential nominee in the 2024 election.
Pence announced at an event held by the Jewish Republican Coalition in Las Vegas on Saturday that he was withdrawing from the race, in which he, along with others, has fallen far behind front-runner Trump.
"I came here to say that it has become clear to me that this is not my time, so after much prayer and discussion, I have decided to suspend my campaign for president, effective today," Pence said . CNA
