Takimi në Romë/ Zelensky: Synim i përbashkët për mbrojtjen me SHBA-në

Presidenti ukrainas Volodymyr Zelensky u takua sot me të dërguarin special të SHBA-së për Ukrainën Keith Kellogg në Romë, duke shënuar takimin e tyre të dytë zyrtar.

Zelensky tha se pati një bisedë “substanciale” me të dërguarin special të SHBA-së Keith Kellogg, në kuadër të vizitës së tij në Romë.

“Diskutuam furnizimin me armë dhe forcimin e mbrojtjes ajrore. Duke pasur parasysh rritjen e sulmeve ruse, kjo mbetet një nga prioritetet tona kryesore”,-shkroi Zelensky në platformën ‘X’.

Takimi vjen në prag të Konferencës së Rimëkëmbjes së Ukrainës, e cila do të mbahet së bashku nga Ukraina dhe Italia më 10-11 korrik. Ky takim shënon ngjarjen e katërt të madhe ndërkombëtare të fokusuar në mobilizimin e mbështetjes politike dhe të sektorit privat për rindërtimin e Ukrainës.

Kellogg, një figurë e shquar në administratën e Presidentit të SHBA-së, Donald Trump, ka udhëhequr kohët e fundit kontaktet diplomatike me udhëheqjen ukrainase.

Sipas presidentit ukrainas, biseda përfshinte gjithashtu blerjen e sistemeve të armëve amerikane, prodhimin e përbashkët të mbrojtjes dhe transferimin e teknologjisë që synon forcimin e industrisë vendase të mbrojtjes./CNA
