Attacks on Iran/ Rutte reveals NATO plans for military involvement

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte spoke today about the military actions of the United States and Israel in Iran.

Speaking to German broadcaster ARD, Rutte said the attacks limit Tehran's ability to secure nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles, but stressed that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization would not be involved in this war.

"It's really very important what the United States is doing there, together with Israel, because it eliminates, reduces Iran's ability to secure nuclear capabilities, ballistic missiles. There is absolutely no plan for NATO to get involved in something like that. Individual allies are doing everything they can to facilitate what the Americans are doing together with Israel," Rutte said./ CNA
