Rubio, message to the world: Don't play games with President Trump

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in a joint press conference with President Donald Trump, stated that Nicolas Maduro is not the legitimate president of Venezuela but simply a fugitive from US justice.

Rubio emphasized that Maduro had chances to avoid the whole situation but rejected the chances and today got the message.

Rubio said that the message to the world today is not to play games with this incumbent president because they will not succeed.  

"Nicolas Maduro was indicted in 2020 by the US. He is not the legitimate president of Venezuela. He is a fugitive from US justice. There was a $15 million reward for him. Maduro had the opportunity to avoid this, he was given the chance, but today he got the message.

"There are many who want to play games, they want to seize American companies in their country, there are people who want to play with us, but we have a president who doesn't play games. When he says he's going to address a problem, he will. This is a president of action. The message to the world is don't play games with this president who is in office, you won't make it," Rubio said./ CNA
