A plane crashes in Serbia/ One person dies

A small plane crashed this Thursday near Belgrade in Serbia.

The news has been confirmed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia (MIA), which informs that one person has lost his life.

Specifically, the plane took off from the "13 Maji" airport in Zemun Polje, 10 kilometers west of Belgrade.

The representative of the Research Center for Traffic Accidents, Nebojsha Petrovic, told the local media that the ultralight plane was registered at the Directorate of Civil Aviation in Belgrade.

Petrovic stated that the representatives of the center went to the scene as soon as they received information about the plane crash.
