Serbian President Aleksandar Vu?i? stated today regarding the protest planned for Saturday, June 28, in Belgrade, that the state will intervene only if forced to do so and that it will do everything it can to ensure that no one is harmed.
Vu?i? expressed confidence that June 28 will come and go and that the state will triumph.
Speaking to Serbian media outlet 'Nis Tv', Vu?i? stressed that he is holding talks with the students from the protest organizing group.
"If necessary, we will certainly intervene, but I hope we will not be forced to do so. In the meantime, we will continue to work. I am currently holding discussions with students as part of the International Student Forum 'Freedom and Sovereignty of Nations in the 21st Century', after which I will travel to ?a?ak and Po?ega to visit the final sections of the highway that are expected to open soon. These are extremely, extremely important issues for me," Vu?i? told Nis TV. /CNA
