This Monday morning, the Holy Father Pope Leo XIV received at the Vatican representatives of all the different religions of the world. In his speech, the Holy Father emphasized the relationship between the Catholic Church and Muslims and praised it as a relationship of growing devotion.               

 "Relations between the Catholic Church and Muslims are characterized by a growing commitment to dialogue and fraternity, favored by appreciation for these brothers and sisters who worship the one God," the Pope said.

With these words, Pope Leo XIV welcomed representatives of other Christian Churches and communities, as well as those of other religions, into an audience.

 "This stance, based on mutual respect and freedom of conscience, represents a solid foundation for building bridges between our communities," underlined Holy Father Prevost.

Among those present in the audience were many ecumenical delegations and representatives of other religions, who participated yesterday in the Inaugural Mass of the papacy of Leo XIV.
