The Chinese president will visit France, Serbia and Hungary

Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit France, Serbia and Hungary from May 5 to 10, a spokesman for China's Foreign Ministry announced on Monday.

The two countries [China and France] have had strategic communications and practical cooperation, said ministry spokesman Lin Jian, speaking about Xi's trip to France.

"It is time to push the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and France to a new level and give new impetus to the healthy development of China-EU relations, make new contributions to peace, stability, development and world progress," Lin Jian told a regular media briefing.

"China looks forward to working with France to further enhance mutual political trust, solidarity and cooperation," he said.

While with the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vu?i?, the spokesperson said that Xi Jinping will talk about bilateral relations as well as discuss the improvement of China-Serbia relations./ REL
