Parlamenti grek miraton pezullimin tremujor të kërkesave për azil për emigrantët

Parlamenti i Greqisë miratoi të premten një pezullim tremujor të kërkesave për azil për migrantët që mbërrijnë nga deti nga Libia, pavarësisht kritikave të forta nga agjencia e Kombeve të Bashkuara për refugjatët dhe zyrtarët më i lartë të të drejtave të njeriut në Evropë.

Masa pezullon përpunimin e kërkesave për azil për ata që mbërrijnë nga deti nga Afrika e Veriut, pas një rritjeje dramatike të kalimeve në Mesdhe që ka mbingarkuar qendrat e pritjes në ishullin e Kretës.

Autoritetet në Kretë po përpiqen të ofrojnë shërbime bazë, duke përdorur ambiente të përkohshme për të strehuar migrantët, kryesisht nga Somalia, Sudani, Egjipti dhe Maroku, sipas zyrtarëve të ishullit.

Pezullimi u miratua me një votë prej 177 votash pro dhe 74 kundër, pavarësisht kundërshtimit të ashpër nga partitë e krahut të majtë, të cilat pa sukses e kundërshtuan amendamentin si jokushtetues./CNA
