Israel warns/ The war will last for months, Hamas will no longer exist

Israel is determined not to stop the war with Hamas.

Israel's Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, said that the army's counterattacks in Gaza could last for months, until Hamas is completely extinguished.

Gallant made this warning after an operational briefing at the Israeli Air Force's Operations Command and Control Center.

"The army operation may last one, two or three months, but in the end there will be no more Hamas", he said, while emphasizing that nothing can stop the Israel Defense Forces.

"In terms of the operational aspects of the maneuver, at the end of the day, nothing is going to stop the IDF (Israel Defense Forces).

This should be our last maneuvering operation in Gaza, for the simple reason that after that there will be no more Hamas", continued the minister.

Gallant expressed his appreciation for the Air Force and said the next phase, the long-awaited ground operation, "will be coming soon."/ CNA
