Explosions near several hospitals in Gaza/ The number of victims increases again

At the weekend the Israeli military vowed to intensify airstrikes in Gaza and warned Palestinians still in the north of the territory to leave the south.

Overnight there were reports of explosions near several hospitals in Gaza, although the Israeli military has not confirmed any attacks in these areas.

So far officials in Gaza have confirmed that more than 4,600 have been killed by Israeli airstrikes. Meanwhile, Israel itself has confirmed 1,400 victims from the October 7 attack by Hamas.

The attacks have not yet stopped in Gaza. Western leaders have reiterated their support for Israel, while making repeated calls for the protection of civilian life.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told troops that his people were in a battle for their lives and the fight against Hamas was a case of "life or death"./ CNA
