Orbán's message to Zelensky: We will not be able to reach an

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban addressed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, amid efforts to end the war in Ukraine, which is now approaching four years.

In a post on social media, Orban describes Zelensky as a man in a desperate position, unable or unwilling to end the war.

"Dear President Zelensky, it seems to me that we will not be able to reach an agreement. I am a free man serving the Hungarian people. You are a man in a desperate position, who, for the fourth year now, cannot or does not want to end a war, despite the fact that the President of the United States has offered every possible assistance to achieve this. Therefore, no matter how much you flatter me, we cannot support your war efforts. The Ukrainian people, of course, despite your carefully chosen insults, can continue to count on us to supply your country with electricity and fuel, while we will continue to support refugees coming from Ukraine. Life itself will sort out the rest and everyone will get what they deserve," Orban wrote.

Through this public message, Orban responded to Zelensky's statement in Davos, saying that Budapest will not be able to reach an understanding with Kiev. /CNA
