The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Koçiu, in today's plenary session, proposed changes to the law on social assistance.
According to her, the benefit of the birth bonus should be limited to families resident in Albania.
"Today I come with a proposal for a change in the law on social assistance that focuses on changing the policy on the bonus for babies. Our proposal is to limit the benefit of the birth bonus to families resident in Albania. Young families, young mothers and their children have a special view from us. there are also some initiatives, such as the doubling and tripling of the economic aid scheme. For unemployed mothers, we offer payment of social and health insurance contributions. I invite you to support this bill.”/ CNA
