Kurti will participate in a conference in Sarajevo on regional reports-

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, will travel on December 5 to Sarajevo, where a day later he will participate in a conference of the non-governmental organization "Association of Independent Intellectuals Krug 99".

The news was confirmed for Radio Free Europe by the leader of this organization, Adil Kullenovic, who added that the Kosovar Prime Minister will deliver a speech at this conference.

"In this session, regional relations will be discussed", said Kullenovi? for REL.

In October, Kurti stated during a summit of the Berlin Process that Kosovo will allow the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to enter Kosovo with an identity card, starting from January 1, 2025.

The agreement on the lifting of the visa regime between Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will enable the citizens of these two countries to travel without visas, has not yet been ratified in the Parliament of Bosnia.

It is being blocked by representatives of the Republika Srpska entity, led by the League of Independent Social Democrats and Milorad Dodik.

Citizens of Kosovo who want to travel to Bosnia will need to be provided with visas, "issued only in exceptional cases", and must be approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Visa applications can be submitted in Skopje, Podgorica and Belgrade, while the visa fee is 31 euros.

For citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who want to travel to Kosovo, a letter of guarantee or hotel reservation, employment contract and certificate or confirmation that they are not convicted are required, among other things. The visa costs 40 euros and is delivered to the Kosovo embassy in Zagreb.

Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo do not recognize each other, due to the opposition of the Republika Srpska entity, led by the pro-Russian president Milorad Dodik, who is under US sanctions for undermining the Dayton Agreement./ REL
