Police checks on the streets of Athens/Prime Minister Mitsotakis undergoes alcohol test

One of the dozens of points in Athens, where the Hellenic police carry out intensive checks on drivers for possible alcohol consumption and other violations, was visited at midnight by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, accompanied by the Minister of Citizen Protection, Michalis Chrysochoidis.

The Prime Minister spoke with the women and men of the Hellenic Police who were on duty at the time, congratulated them on their work and thanked them for their tireless contribution, day and night, throughout the year.

Mitsotakis was informed about the simple and valid method that police officers follow to determine how much a driver has drunk, as well as the procedure that is followed in case someone is found to be over the permitted limit.

In fact, Mitsotakis himself underwent a breathalyzer test, the result of which was negative./CNA
