The Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly, Glauk Konjufca, stated that they will not cooperate with the Serbian minorities in forming the new government. In a statement to the Italian media, Konjufca spoke about the process of forming the new government, after coming in second in the votes from Vetëvendosje in the February 9 elections.

Regarding the possibilities for a possible coalition in Kosovo, Konjufca said that the government could be achieved by cooperating with non-Serb minorities.

Konjufca said that this is the goal of the 'Vetëvendosje' Movement, because it has had a positive effect in Kosovo, hindering the Serbian List, which according to him operates under the influence of Belgrade.

"As you have seen, the 'Kurti 2' government was formed in cooperation with non-Serb minorities. This is our goal because it has had a positive effect in Kosovo, preventing the Serbian List, which operates under the influence of Belgrade, from having decisive power as it had in previous governments. If the need arises, we will gather as a leadership and decide on further steps, but so far the opposition parties have maintained an obstructive stance. The attacks on Vetëvendosje have been very aggressive and I think these elections were quite unconventional, with many unfair accusations and low blows.
