Attacks with 70 types of missiles in Ukraine/ Zelensky: Reason to increase

The Russians launched nearly 300 attack drones and nearly 70 missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles, against Ukraine on Sunday night, May 25. According to Ukrainian media, President Volodymyr Zelensky also shared the matter as information on Facebook.

"Today, rescue teams have been working in more than 30 Ukrainian cities and villages after Russia's massive attack. Wherever necessary, the work continues - our emergency services are on the ground, providing assistance and supporting people," Zelensky said.

Zelensky stated that the targets included Kyiv and the region, as well as the Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Chernihiv, Sumy, Odesa, Poltava, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy regions.

"Each such Russian terrorist attack is a sufficient reason for new sanctions against Russia. Russia is dragging out this war and continues to kill every day. The world may go on weekend vacations, but the war continues, regardless of weekends and weekdays. These were deliberate attacks on ordinary cities. Ordinary residential buildings were destroyed and damaged. In Kiev, the dormitories of the university's history department were hit. There were also attacks on enterprises. Tragically, people were killed, including children. My condolences," President Zelensky noted.
