Iranian attacks on US bases/ Zelensky accuses Russia of helping Iran with drones

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Russia has supplied Iran with drones that have been used to attack US military bases in the Middle East region.

In an interview with CNN, Zelensky said that there is reliable evidence from Ukrainian intelligence in the Middle East that Moscow is supporting Tehran with combat drones so that it can continue its revenge for the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

"First of all, Russia has already given drones, they are using Iranian licenses, they have produced many drones, they have "donated" them. I have 100% certain facts that the Iranian regime has used these drones against American bases, and against the entire Middle East. We have seen, intelligence has shared with us some details, which were Russian details in these Iranian drones ," the Ukrainian president said.

These Shahed drones, designed by Iran but mass-produced by Moscow for use in Ukraine, have been unexpectedly successful in penetrating the air defenses of Gulf countries. It was previously reported that Russia has provided Iran with information about the locations and movements of American troops, ships and aircraft.

Meanwhile, Iran has issued a threatening warning to Ukraine, which will be the target of their attacks, as according to the Iranian ministry, they have been involved in the open conflict by providing aid to Israel.  /CNA
