Joe Biden's poor debate performance against Republican nominee Donald Trump worried Democrats and raised the question of whether he would drop out of the presidential race.

It would not be an easy process as Biden is already the Democratic nominee and the overwhelming choice of primary voters. He faced little opposition during the primary voting, and the fact that he won almost all of the party's delegates means that it is highly unlikely that Biden will be forced out of the race against his will.
