Biden thirrje G7-ës: Duhet të qëndrojmë të bashkuar

Presidenti Joe Biden vlerësoi aleancën globale që po përballet me Rusinë lidhur me luftën e saj në Ukrainë.

Zoti Biden, i cili po merr pjesë në takimin e Grupit të Shtatëshes që mbahet në Gjermani, bëri thirrje që koalicioni "të qëndrojë i bashkuar". Ai tha se Presidenti rus Vladimir Putin mendonte "se mund të na fuste në konflikt me njëri-tjetrin, duke dëmtuar vendosmërinë tonë".

Presidenti amerikan tha se koalicioni nuk është ndarë dhe nuk do ta bëjë një gjë të tillë.

Komentet zoti Biden i bëri gjatë një takimi me Kancelarin gjerman Olaf Scholz përpara se udhëheqësit e Grupit të Shtatëshes (G7), ekonomitë kryesore të botës, të nisnin takimin e tyre vjetor sot në Gjermani.

Presidenti Biden dhe homologët po takohen për të diskutuar mbi çështje të energjisë, përballjen me inflacionin, duke synuar të parandalojnë, që pasojat e luftës të dëmtojnë koalicionit global që punon për të ndëshkuar Moskën.

Presidenti Biden njoftoi gjithashtu se vendet e G-7-s do të ndalojnë importet e arit rus. Ari është një nga eksportet kryesore të Moskës. Me këtë masë udhëheqësit perëndimore shpresojnë ta izolojë më tej ekonomikisht Rusinë, për shkak të agresionit të saj në Ukrainë./ VOA
