Heathrow Airport in Chaos / Abandoned suitcases fill the terminal

London Heathrow Airport has been plunged  into total chaos, with hundreds of passengers' luggage left on the airport premises, causing travel delays and, above all, frustration for many passengers.

According to The Sun, the travel industry has plunged into turmoil in recent weeks due to staff shortages. Airport staff are on strike and demanding salary increases and more days off.

Passengers are frustrated and upset by last-minute flight cancellations, large queues and lost luggage as airports try to make ends meet.

Everywhere there are shocking images where it is shown that passengers are trying to navigate among the thousands of abandoned luggage both on arrival and departure.

Piles of luggage are seen everywhere, not knowing what will happen to them. /CNA.al
