Anulohen një pjesë e fluturimeve në Britani të Madhe dhe Irlandë

Pasagjerët e linjave ajrore në disa pjesë të Mbretërisë së Bashkuar dhe Irlandës u përballën me ndërprerje të udhëtimit të shtunën për shkak të anulimeve të fluturimeve pasi një stuhi përfshiu të dyja vendet dhe la mijëra shtëpi irlandeze me ndërprerje të energjisë.

Ndërprerja e shkaktuar nga "Stuhia Kathleen", e quajtur nga Shërbimi Meteorologjik Irlandez ka ndikuar në fluturimet në aeroportet në të gjithë Irlandën dhe Mbretërinë e Bashkuar, duke përfshirë Aeroportin e Mançesterit dhe Aeroportin e qytetit të Belfast-it.

Aeroporti i Dublinit njoftoi se udhëtarët që do të fluturonin po këshilloheshin të kontrollonin me linjën e tyre ajrore për përditësime të udhëtimit pasi kushtet e motit në aeroporte të tjera çuan në disa anulime dhe devijime fluturimesh.

Erërat e forta të lidhura me stuhinë gjithashtu kishin çuar në një numër ndërprerjesh të energjisë në të gjithë vendin, me rreth 34,000 shtëpi, ferma dhe biznese të prekura, tha furnizuesi irlandez i energjisë ESB Networks./CNA
