"Ping-pong" with financing / Construction of the Tirana incinerator

CNA has revealed the first 16 pages of SPAK's indictment on the Tirana incinerator.

In the accusation of SPAK, submitted to the Special Court of First Instance, the "ping pong" with the financing of the construction of the landfill and the incinerator of Tirana is shown.

The Ministry of Finance has rejected 6 times the request for the construction of the incinerator in Tirana and this fact has been mentioned in a statement to the media by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

The head of the DP said that Shkëlqim Cani and Arben Ahmatejn refused to approve the construction of the incinerator as they saw it as a completely unaffordable request from a financial point of view.

He emphasized that the forgery and deception of the mayor of Tirana, Erion Velliaj, played a decisive role in the change of attitude of the Ministry of Finance, that the municipality would bear the expenses for the fund of 91 million euros.

"The heat of August subsided, but the flames of the Tirana burner that does not exist become more and more contagious. Authentic, official, original data prove that Erion Veliaj is the main author, together with Edi Rama, of the theft of the century with the Tirana incinerator.

These data, which are fully available from the Special Prosecutor's Office, prove that, not once, but six times, the Ministry of Finance, first Shkëlqim Cani and later Arben Ahmetaj, have rejected the six-time repeated request for the construction of the Tirana incinerator, as a complete request unaffordable from a financial point of view, which was confirmed with full responsibility by the High State Control a year ago.

These are all the dates: September 28, 2016, November 27, December 7 of the same year, December 27, 2016, in which the Ministry of Finance expressed its complete disapproval of the Tirana burner. In addition to these, February 1, February 21, so these are also the dates of requests and rejection of the Ministry of Finance for the theft project of the century, which is the Tirana Incinerator.

In the change of attitude, which I do not defend, I do not accept that the change of attitude of the Ministry of Finance should have happened, but in the change of attitude, the falsification and deception of Erion Velliaj played a decisive role, that the municipality would bear the expenses for the fund of 91 million euros", emphasized Berisha./ CNA.al
