Van hits car and drags it, journalist solves the situation with a cart

In today's show, we address the complaint of Eduart Sharka from Lushnja, who stated that on February 8, 2026, at around 10:30 PM, his vehicle was hit by a van driven by Artan Pepa.

According to him, after the accident, the parties agreed to resolve the matter amicably, without involving the police, after the van driver promised to fix the damage. However, even after two weeks, the car had not been fixed and communication between them had stalled.

"A friend who had seen him informed me. I came here to the bar, he told me he left a number. I'll take the person, I won't come now and I won't come later and he's not solving my problem. That's why I didn't report him, because I said we're human, tomorrow I can do the same thing. The guy in question wasn't solving my problem, he was just lying to me. He's not giving me a solution. With a mechanic I spoke to, the car's penalty is 2 and a half million (old lek)," says the complainant.

For this reason, Eduart reported the case to the Lushnje Police Station, also submitting a statement that he would withdraw the complaint if an agreement was reached. The case was further referred to the Fier Regional Directorate and the Prosecutor's Office.

"I called him two or three times, he lied to me, and then I was forced to go to the police. They just came, took the photos and things, and told me to talk to that guy again, because the deadline had passed," the complainant added.

After the intervention of "Stop" journalists, communication was achieved with Artan Pepa, who expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation, but in the end the parties agreed on a solution.

The damaged vehicle was taken by tow truck to be repaired and the complainant withdrew the complaint, closing the case with an agreement./ Tv Klan
