The Veliaj family's journalist, Mero Baze, wrote an editorial two days ago, where between the lines he harshly attacks the Prisons Directorate as a corrupt institution, something he had never done before and it all started when Erion Veliaj was arrested.

He didn't do it for Ilir Beqja, he didn't do it for Ilir Meta, although now he wants to use him in his lines or misuse him.

He didn't do it for many other mayors, he didn't do it for many other Rama ministers and other officials. But now for Erion Veliaj it goes to the point that Mero Baze is aware of what happened in the prison cells of Durres.

In his article, he emphasizes that the "corrupt prisons" have committed a major crime, namely blackmail, threats and open pressure on officials, because they have kept the documents to give to Erion Veliaj according to a court order.

According to Mero Baze's version, both Veliaj and his lawyer objected to receiving the documents. Prison officials and BKH officers went to give Erion what he was asking for, that 'teken' he uses as a move in court saying 'I want the printed acts', while he himself has paid 220 thousand dollars in lobbying with a law firm, maybe several tens of thousands more, he did not have several tens of thousands of lek to print these SPAK acts. He received them with a court decision, the officers went to hand them over.

According to Mero Baze, Veliaj and his lawyers have objected to receiving these because they should have made a record. In fact, every act that is handed over is made with a record and there is no chance that prison officials, those who do not like Mero or those who like Mero, would make such a blunder as to hand over or receive and keep documents without having the corresponding record.

Mero says that Erion has received the files. This "big news" that Erion has received the documents was also reported by the media paid by the famous incinerators that do not exist, or those paid by Erion Veliaj's brother, Arbri. Meanwhile, Mero says that corrupt officials kept the files according to the order given by SPAK because Veliaj objected that they should be done with a report.

But who are these officials who didn't want the minutes? So, Erion wanted the minutes, the officials wanted the minutes. Why didn't Erion get the files?

Dhe më tej ka kundërshtuar marrjen e dokumenteve me idenë se s'i kam marrë akoma, disa ditë ishin pushim, “i marr nga java tjetër”, vjen në gjykatë dhe thotë: “Sot i mora unë në mëngjes, sot kanë ardhur, unë s'i kam marrë akoma”, megjithëse i ka pasur në zyrë.

Ndërkohë Mero shkruan se “këta të burgjeve janë treguar të keqpërdorur dhe janë të korruptuar sepse kanë shkuar dhe ia kanë çuar dokumentet sipas rregullave dhe kërkesave ligjore”. Tani nga njëra anë kërkon dokumentet, nga ana tjetër thonë se kërkonte të merrte procesverbal, nga ana tjetër thonë i kanë mbajtur ata të burgjeve, nga ana tjetër thonë i ka marrë Erion Veliaj, nga ana tjetër s'ka procesverbal.

Tani është shumë e thjeshtë; gjithçka do të zbardhet nesër. Çfarë do të bëjë Erion Veliaj në seancë gjyqësore dhe e dyta, në rast se ka procesverbal, ai duhet të dalë dhe duhet të bëhet publik, jo thjesht dhe vetëm për t'i çjerrë turinjtë ‘Mero Bazeve’, po që shqiptarët të mësojnë të vërtetën.

Në rast se nuk ka procesverbal dhe Veliaj nuk ka qenë në dijeni dhe ato dokumente nuk i ka marrë, atëherë ky është një skandal për të cilin duhet të mbajnë përgjegjësi punonjësit e burgjeve, oficerët e burgjeve, BKH-së etj. Por në rast se kanë shkuar, kanë dorëzuar dokumentet me procesverbal dhe pastaj janë kundërshtuar për t'i marrë apo kanë bërë skema dhe lojëra për të vonuar dhe shtyrë seancat gjyqësore, këta janë skenarët e paralajmëruar, që dihen prej shumë muajsh. Sepse tani, në qoftë se Erion Veliaj do të kishte qenë burrë mund të kishte ecur me gjyqin e tij dhe ndoshta mund ta kishte mbyllur dhe mund të kishte dalë i pafajshëm. Po vazhdon të kapet me procedura, me shtyrje, me seanca, sepse e di zullumin që ka bërë dhe e di se sa e dënon ligji për ato shkelje dhe ato abuzime që ai ka kryer.

Ndaj dhe gjenden 'kleçka' me procesverbale, pa procesverbale, 'më jep këtë letër, se kam atë letrën tjetër', 'po këtë avokatin e dua, po atë s'e dua', 'po e dëboj atë, po vjen ky tjetri'... duke e bërë procesin pis dhe duke e bërë një lëmsh të vërtetë.
