Murder of 14-year-old in Tirana/ Friend missing, preliminary hearing postponed

The Tirana Court decided today to postpone the preliminary hearing for the murder of 14-year-old MC, who was the victim of a fight just 200 meters from the "Fan Noli" school in Tirana.

The reason for the postponement of the session was the absence of his friend, who was injured.

The victim's parents, Engjell and Florina Cani, were also present at the hearing. The mother told reporters that the hearings should be held with open doors so that her son can become a symbol for other children.

"I want justice to be served. I speak as a mother, I want and will fight for justice," the mother of the deceased 14-year-old declared.

The next session was scheduled for March 27 at 1:30 p.m.

We recall that the murder of the minor occurred on November 18, 2024 in Tirana, by a peer just 200 meters from the "Fan Noli" school in Tirana. The incident occurred 3 days after a conflict between two teenagers inside the school, for trivial reasons, which on that day seemed to be closed, but resumed on the day when the tragic event occurred./ CNA
