Former Socialist MP passes away at a young age

Former Socialist MP Andis Harasani has passed away at the age of 55. Family sources told CNA that Andis had been suffering from a serious illness for some time and had been frequently hospitalized for weeks.

He was one of the active politicians in the Socialist Party, and was elected to two terms as a member of parliament. Harasani stood out during the movement for different thinking in the Socialist Party.

He was also the director of KESH during the government of Prime Minister Nano.

Andis Harasani was a seasoned banker. He had excellent knowledge of banking management, including internationally, being an expert in areas such as credit review, loans, debt restructuring, venture capital and sovereign risk lending experience covering corporate, commercial and community banking activities. He actively participated in the management team for the establishment of four commercial banks in three different countries.
