The Albanian Road Authority has announced the closure of the segment from the former "Eagle" Square to the Tirana River Bridge.

The reason for the closure is the works on the Grand Ring Road, and in this segment, an asphalt concrete layer will be laid. The axis will be blocked overnight, more specifically from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

As part of the final phase of road construction works in the facility: "Completion, Reconciliation and Continuation of Works on the Sheshi Shqiponja-Lumi i Tiranës, Lot 1 and QMT", part of the Tirana Grand Ring Road, on 08-09.03.2025, it is planned to lay the asphalt concrete layer on the main axis of this segment, specifically from the former Sheshi Shqiponja to the Tirana River bridge.

For this reason, during the night hours (20:00 - 06:00) it is necessary to block this axis by directing traffic as follows:

-On 08.03.2025 from 20:00 to 06:00, works will be carried out on the right side of the main axis and as a result, vehicle movement will be blocked in Tunnels no. 2 (traffic flow coming from the Tirana-Durrës highway towards the Northern Ring Road) and Tunnel no. 1 (traffic flow coming to the main axis from Teodor Keko towards the Northern Ring Road).

- On 09.03.2025 (20:00 - 06:00) there will be works on the left side and traffic should be diverted to the Paskuqan underpass by directing vehicles to the roads connecting to this junction.
