Megaoperation by SPAK and AMP/ 90 assets of persons under investigation are

The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, in implementation of decision no. 131, dated 28.02.2025 of the Special Court, issued on March 3 the order for the imposition of the "preventive seizure" measure on 90 movable and immovable assets owned directly or indirectly by the persons under investigation in the framework of criminal proceedings no. 169, of 2022.

On 14.02.2025, within the framework of this criminal proceeding, the names of ten citizens who are attributed criminal offenses* (see notes for journalists) were registered, including citizens; KQ (alias JH, alias JQ), EA (alias KA) and SH.K, involved during the years 2019-2021 in the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants (cannabis sativa) in the area of ??Saranda and its surroundings, as well as trafficking narcotics from Albania to Greece, carried out within the framework of the structured criminal group. During the preliminary investigations by the Financial Investigators at the Special Prosecution Office, as well as by the Investigators of the National Bureau of Investigation, a series of investigative actions were carried out in relation to the property investigation within the framework of this criminal proceeding.

One day after the issuance of the order of the Special Prosecutor's Office, on 04.03.2025, the General Directorate of the State Police has notified all state agencies in charge of registering movable and immovable assets, as well as second-tier banks, of the execution of decision no. 131, dated 28.02.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption "On the determination of the preventive seizure measure".

The General Directorate of the State Police and the Agency for the Administration of Sequestered and Confiscated Assets are continuing other legal procedures for the receipt and administration of movable and immovable assets, for which preventive seizure has been imposed.
