Journalist Ola Xama, in an interview on MCN TV, spoke about the investigations into the toxic waste of "Kurum" that was stored in the hospital.

Xama said that the executive director of the Basel Network, Jim Puckett, has expressed his willingness to give his testimony, but has not received a response from the Durrës Prosecutor's Office.

The journalist said that the Basel Network had also provided notarized testimony, but again without a response from the prosecution. This lack of response, says Xama, has alarmed the Basel Network.

" After a three-month wait by the Directorate of Standards and Accreditation, a laboratory has finally been found that can examine the case. All this reaction by the Durrës Prosecutor's Office came after a public denunciation by the Basel Network, which is also the main whistleblower of the case involving 102 containers of hazardous waste.

The Basel Network has emphasized that the Executive Director, Jim Puckett, has offered to give his testimony through electronic channels, but the Prosecutor's Office has not returned any response. Despite the administration of the testimony, it has not been specified whether it has the value of legal evidence. Furthermore, the Basel Network has also offered a notarized testimony, but again has not received a response.
