Three deliberate fires in Pogradec/ Firefighters, residents and forestry workers on the ground

Two deliberate fires were activated on Saturday evening in the Dardhas unit between the villages of Grunjas and Prenisht. The flames had engulfed areas with oak vegetation.

Over 15 forces from the forestry, fire and local residents went to the area in the early hours of the morning to isolate the fire sources.

Currently, two hot spots have been isolated and extinguished and are being closely monitored to prevent their reactivation, while work is underway on a third hot spot in the area between Dardhas-Prenisht, which erupted on Sunday morning.

According to the data, the situation is under control, while investigative actions will be carried out to find the person who intentionally set the fires.
