The expression that comes from 17th-century French history that "The Revolution eats its own children" may very well fit a situation that is already occurring among the "fathers" of the Justice Reform. Individuals who were presented as "High-Level Experts" for strengthening the justice system and who later took up leading positions in the "New Justice" have already begun to quarrel among themselves.
One of these people is Arben Rakipi, the director of the School of Magistrates. In a “strange” interview recently given to journalist Elona Meço on Albanian Public Television, he complained that he was being “blackmailed,” but without revealing who the perpetrators of this alleged “attack” against him are.
Meanwhile, it seems somewhat unclear who or who are the people who are “blackmailing him.” However, he provides some elements that point to the suspicion that the hand behind this “blackmail” could be Sokol Sadushi, another “High Level Expert” in Justice Reform, Arben Rakipi’s predecessor in office at the Magistrates’ Court and currently the President of the High Court.
In the interview, Rakipi talks about "people with power, within the (justice) system", who "have earned academic degrees with plagiarism" and who "are putting pressure on him, after he expelled 5 students from the School", after they were caught with plagiarism.
Asked if the logic that an entire institution feels "blackmailed" by 5 students can stand, Rakipi, playing the role of the mysterious man, says that "there are many interests here, there are people who support them. Plagiarism in this system, the appropriation of academic titles and flaunting them when they are not deserved is a very widespread vice and behavior in the system. Here I see the reason that the integrity of the system must be taken seriously."

Rakipi then considers himself a "subject of blackmail", introducing himself in superlative terms, which can be described as a kind of "public masturbation".
"I am a role model because of the high standard of my personality, honesty in decision-making, high professional skills, great compassion for victims, the humanity that accompanies me at all times, the great patriotism that characterizes me, with endless love for this country and the justice system. Consequently, it would be smart, wise, beneficial, and beneficial for anyone who follows me..."
Further, Rakipi continues: "…Especially for these elements that I mentioned, those who are wise, those who are the hope of this country, those who want to serve the country and the people have chosen to follow me. With this, I do not want to put myself at the level of a prophet or a preacher, but at the level of a personality with integrity, I want to present myself now without gloves as such, so that all the bad, the ill-wishers, do not tire in vain to change me, or to blackmail me, or to remove me from this pedestal, on which the work, the energy, the sacrifices that I have made and the colleagues who know me have placed me."
Expulsion of 5 students
The story of the expulsion of 5 students from the School of Magistrates happened months ago and it is unclear why director Arben Rakipi remembered to talk about this episode now.
In fact, he, as director of the School of Magistrates, has previously strongly refused to provide transparency on this case.
In December 2024, "Boldnews.al" officially requested information from the School of Magistrates regarding the case of the expulsion of several students.
The Magistrate's School refused to provide clarification, hiding behind confidentiality.
"In response to the request for information, ... we inform you that based on Article 17 of Law No. 119/2014 "On the Right to Information", the School of Magistrates cannot provide you with the above-mentioned administrative acts, as it does not appear that the holder of the rights has given consent to provide the relevant information", the response dated December 19, 2024 stated.

"Boldnews.al" addressed the Commissioner for the Right to Information with a complaint for "refusal to provide information".
But even Commissioner Besnik Dervishi, who, as a rule, should support transparency, rejected the complaint of "Boldnews.al" with a letter dated January 25, 2025.

Now, Arben Rakipi is using a public appearance to mention the case of the expulsion of 5 students, in the context of claims that he feels "blackmailed" and "under pressure" for that episode.
Sadducee after "blackmail"?
In the absence of transparency on the names of the expelled students, it is somewhat difficult to clearly understand which of them has "powerful supporters" who have exerted "pressure" and "blackmail" on Arben Rakipi.
However, "Boldnews.al" has learned that among the "famous five" is also the lawyer LM, who was previously part of Sokol Sadushi's close staff.
This detail largely coincides with the context of the statements given by Arben Rakipi in the interview for Public Television, when he speaks of "people who support them" and "people with plagiarism, with appropriation of academic titles and adorning themselves with them when they do not deserve them."
Sadducees again?
The suspicions that after the "blackmail" against Arben Rakipi put Sokol Sadushi for the second time in the role of "the originator of the pressures".
A few months ago, the head of the Supreme Court used all his power to instigate the process that shortened the mandate of the President of the Constitutional Court, Holta Zaçaj. He also seems to be behind a process that has already been launched for the premature termination of the mandate of another constitutional judge, Sonila Bejtja.
All of these movements have created the impression that Sokol Sadushi currently appears to be the super-powerful man in the justice system.
The question is where this superpower comes from and, above all, how long it will last./ Syri Tv
