Emergency department of QSUT partially out of order/ Cases are sent to Trauma or

The QSUT emergency is partially out of order and a good part of the cases are sent to the Trauma Hospital or the Sanatorium. 

This situation was created due to the fire that engulfed this building on February 11 and as a result the emergency of internal diseases in QSUT continues to be partially out of order. 

According to a chart, the trauma hospital and sanatorium are also sent white shirts specialized for emergencies of internal diseases.

Meanwhile, for all those citizens who personally come to the emergency, there is a staff who guides them to go to Trauma or Sanatorium.  

Meanwhile, the citizens of Gjirokastra, Vlora, Fier and Berat will receive the cardiology emergency, that of internal diseases and the orthopedic one at the Memorial Hospital, while the cardiology emergencies for Shkodër and Lezhë regions are treated at the Shkodër Regional Hospital.

We remind you that a few weeks ago, the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana registered criminal proceedings for the criminal offense of "Destruction of property by fire" for the fire in the "Mother Teresa" Emergency and Hospital Center.

This criminal proceeding was registered without persons in the investigation, meanwhile the administration of all the evidence was ordered to document the cause and value of the damage caused, as well as the persons responsible for causing the damage./CNA
