Security measures for Berisha and Malltez / The decision is given

GJKKO has left in force the "house arrest" security measure for the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.

It is learned that GJKKO rejected Berisha's request for changing the security measure.

Even for the son-in-law of the former prime minister, Jamarbër Malltezi, the Special Court dismissed the appeal, leaving him also under "house arrest".

We remind you that since December 30, the chairman of the DP is under house arrest.

The Special Prosecutor's Office accuses the former prime minister of "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials", carried out in cooperation with his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezin.

SPAK claims that Berisha, in his capacity as Prime Minister, has favored the privatization procedures of the former "Partizani" complex and the direct beneficiary has been Malltezi.

On the other hand, Malltezi is accused of "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials", carried out in cooperation with Berisha./  CNA
