SPAK will investigate "January 21"/ Lawyer Beqiri: Forces the Supreme Court to register the criminal complaint

The Supreme Court has decided today that the "January 21" file will be investigated by SPAK.

Lawyer Idajet Beqiri has stated that the Supreme Court forces SPAK to register the criminal report and even start the investigations.

"You understood the essence of today's trial, which was the decision of the SPAK Prosecutor, who did not register the report against Berisha, Basha and Prend, claiming that it is the competence of the General Jurisdiction Prosecutor's Office. We disagreed with that.

GJKKO gave the right to SPAK, the Court of Appeal gave right to SPAK and we appealed to the Supreme Court and asked them that the powers to investigate this case did not belong to the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana.

The Supreme Court decided to register a criminal complaint and not only that, but to conduct investigations.

As of today, the report is in SPAK and the prosecutor is obliged to do the investigations", said the lawyer. / CNA
