The Council of Ministers took a series of decisions with an impact on economic development, environment, public administration and the treatment of emergency personnel. Among the main changes is the improvement of the financial treatment of employees of the Fire Protection and Rescue Service. According to the new decision, firefighters will benefit from salary increases of 20% for working hours from 19:00 to 22:00, 50% from 22:00 to 06:00, as well as 25% for work during official holidays and weekly vacations. For additional hours, employees will be compensated with additional rest time or financial payment, limiting the maximum number of these hours to 200 per year, except in cases of civil emergencies.

In economic development, the government declared the territories in the municipalities of Fushë-Arrëz and Përrenjas as "Priority Zones for the Development of the Mountain Economy", while for the improvement of infrastructure, it approved expropriations in the public interest for the rehabilitation of areas near the Morina customs point and the reconstruction of sidewalks in the "Sheh" neighborhood of the Kavajë Municipality. In the field of the environment, the regulation for the verification of greenhouse gas emissions was approved, increasing the criteria for operators, and the agreement with the German agency GIZ for the migration and development program was formalized.

Following institutional procedures, the government proposed to the Assembly the list of candidates for the leadership of the Public Procurement Commission, defined the rules for honorary titles commissions and decided to change the administration of a real estate property in Vlora, which was transferred to the State Attorney's Office. / CNA
