The Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime refuses to investigate and returns to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office the criminal file against two repentant brothers, Indri and Gentian Beqiri. 

The latter decided to cooperate with justice, confessing serious crimes that occurred in Tirana and Durrës. SPAK argues that it cannot investigate the Beqiri brothers as there are no elements of a structured criminal group. 

After the arrest of the two brothers, the Court of Durrës, while setting the security measure, stated that the Beqirajs, in cooperation with other persons, had acted as a structured criminal group, and on the basis of this decision, the prosecution decided to declare incompetence and transfer the criminal file to him SPAK.

Indri and Gentian Beqiraj were held hostage for several hours by people close to Aleksandër Laho alias Pellumb Muharremit known as Rrumi.

After they were released, they explained to the investigators that they had received orders to surveil Rrumi with the aim of eliminating him. Then they told details about a series of criminal events.
