A little while ago, Alfred Balla reacted to the complaint of the Public Commissioner.

The head of the KLP has stated that this vetting procedure for him should have been stopped 5 years ago, since he was separated from the Supreme Court.

"I will briefly explain to you about the complaint that Public Commissioner F.Ballhysa made against the decision of the KPK given a few days ago for me. It was a procedure left "pending" in the vetting offices and it should have been stopped 5 years ago when I addressed you with a letter to the KPK. I was separated 6 years ago from the Supreme Court since I was a Legal Advisor and I was relieved of my duties after the term of the judge I worked with ends. So you don't need a legal education to understand that with my legal departure and not resignation from the Supreme Court, the vetting procedure as an advisor had to be terminated without a final decision since there is no longer an object of review and I no longer enjoy the status of an advisor. When I started at KLP as elected by the Assembly, as a representative of civil society, I had been out of work for 15 months. The decision of the KPK, although delayed, is correct. The complaint filed by the Commissioner surprised me, since his practices of not filing a complaint in similar cases such as M. Xhaferllari, D.
