Today, the chairman of the National Center of Cinematography, Eduart Makri, was relieved of his duties.

The decision was taken at the meeting of the Council of Ministers.

Director Eduart Makri held this post for 4 years. Specifically, he was appointed chairman of the National Center of Cinematography on April 17, 2019.

Meanwhile, it is not yet known who will be the person who will replace the director in this position.

In support of Article 100 of the Constitution and Article 7 of Law No. 8096, dated 21.3.1996, "On Cinematography", amended, with the proposal of the Minister of Culture, the Council of Ministers

Mr. Eduart Makri, chairman of the National Center of Cinematography, is released from this duty.

This decision takes effect immediately.
