Muslim believers celebrate Kurban Bayram/Falen in "Skenderbej" square

Muslim believers celebrate Eid al-Fitr today. The prayer started at 06:00, in "Skënderbej" square, in Tirana.

The head of the Albanian Muslim Community, Bujar Spahiu, while congratulating the believers, emphasized that he hopes that today will be a day of reflection.

"I pray to God that this Eid serves as an internal reflection for every person. We extend a helping hand to those who need it most.

I pray to God that our brothers and sisters in Kosovo find the right prudence to face the recent situations in the North.

I pray to God that our nation will progress in every aspect", the head of the Albanian Muslim Community, Bujar Spahiu, underlined in his congratulatory message.

Eid al-Adha is one of the two most important days in the calendar of Muslim believers, along with Eid al-Fitr.

On this day, all Muslim believers convey messages of peace and harmony to each other and pray for more prosperity.
