Exclusive - 3 RTSH directors resign
3 directors of Albanian Radio and Television have recently...

Although it is paid with citizens' taxes and receives millions of euros every year from the payment of the fee in the light book, Radio Televizioni Albanian (RTSH) has turned into a "bunker" that hides the financial activity with which its daily activities are covered. The total lack of transparency has led to the fact that no one knows who signs and what they sign, how much they cost and where the billions of annual funds that this media monster spends every year, which come out of the wallets of millions of Albanians and pour into the Budget To the State in the form of a tax for RTSH.
The consistency of this avaz, which has been going on for three decades, sowing embezzlement, embezzlement, abuse, etc., through corrupt affairs, some published in the media and most remaining hidden, has finally awakened the Parliament, which has drafted a resolution addressed to RTSH , through which it requires detailed information on the financial coverage of activities. The initiative of the Assembly comes after many problems have been identified before, which prove that from an institution serving the public that finances it, RTSH has turned into an institution of scumbags, that shelters militants and criminals, where jobs are bought in return for handing out money and there is no transparency at all on decision-making.
" The Steering Council of the RTSH should inform the Assembly as soon as possible about the productions ordered during 2022 from the independent production fund. The activity of the RTSH should be made transparent on the official website by publishing all the decisions taken accompanied by with the relevant relations, the minutes of the meetings and the voting method. To make the composition and activity of the Board of Administration transparent, by publishing the activity of this board and all the decisions taken and approved acts. To make the composition and activity of the Council transparent to the viewers and listeners, as well as to publish all its decisions ", are some of the requests that the Parliament has addressed to RTSH.
Also, another request addressed by the Assembly is the lack of transparency on the expenses for festivals. RTSH has organized many musical events, but it has never been found out how much was paid for them. The Assembly has requested that transparency be made as detailed and as quickly as possible.
Also, through the resolution, the Assembly requests that, within the framework of transparency, the organizational and organic structure of the RTSH be published on the official website, that the created vacancies be reflected and that the entire recruitment procedure be transparent.
As a time limit for exhausting the points of the resolution, the Parliament has set the period within the remainder of this year./ CNA.al
