Burning of the Koran in Stockholm/Religious institutions react: Act of hatred

The Interreligious Cooperation Center in Elbasan has reacted strongly after pages of the holy book of the Koran were burned in Stockholm, Sweden, on the day of the Kurban Bayram holiday.

This act has been strongly condemned by the Interfaith Cooperation Center in Elbasan, which in its response has called it an act of hatred.

According to the UNFCCC, such actions incite conflicts and violence between civilizations and do not help mitigate international conflicts.

" We strongly condemn the Swedish authorities' permission to burn a copy of the Holy Quran in Stockholm on Eid and are surprised that this act of hatred is considered freedom of thought and expression.

We think that such acts promote conflicts and violence between civilizations and do not help to mitigate international conflicts", writes QBNF./ CNA
