The General Directorate of Road Transport Services (DPSHTRR) has launched the Intelligent Car, which, by scanning license plates, shows whether or not the vehicles have a vehicle inspection, insurance and unpaid taxes.

General Director of DPSHTRR, Blendi Goxhja, has revealed that in just one day, Intelligent Cars has discovered 392 vehicles in circulation with unpaid taxes.

Through a status on social networks, Gonxhja says that irregularities in the documentation of road vehicles bring serious consequences for public safety, technically uncontrolled vehicles, fiscal evasion, inequality, undermining of road safety, non-coverage of damages from accidents, economic damage and impoverishment of the local and central treasury, illegality and avoidance of obligations.
