Today, protest against Veliaj and rampant corruption in the Municipality of Tirana

Today, the 34th protest will take place in front of the Municipality of Tirana.

Citizens will protest against the mayor Erion Veliaj and corruption in the municipality, whose directors are behind bars while others are under investigation.

The opposition has warned that it will not give up on its mission and will continue to protest until Veliaj leaves the municipality.

Citizens demand the resignation of the mayor and his confrontation with justice.

Veliaj, as well as his family members, are under financial investigation by SPAK.

Veliaj's name appears in hot files such as that of the Tirana incinerator and the 5D file, affairs which have devoured the money of poor Albanian taxpayers and sent several officials to prison. / CNA
