The most important news of yesterday and not only that, which became headlines in all the media, were the inspections of the BKH in the apartment of the mayor of Tirana , Erion Veliaj, in his offices and that of his wife Ajola Xoxa, as well as in the house of Arbër Veliaj's brother. ( Read here )

This happened with "Abc News" run by journalist Sokol Balla. The latter blocked the news about Veliaj and did not report anything about the checks, an important step taken in SPAK's fight against corruption.

Although Balla runs a media outlet of a Kosovar businessman, Shkëlqim Devolli of "Comodita Home", censorship is imposed.

When a television, which is financed and supported by businessmen from Kosovo, such as Shkëlqim Devolli, beyond the problems as a character or the occult connections it may have with the government, imposes censorship either by order from Sokol Balla, or by Shkëlqim Devolli himself, it is not nothing more and nothing less than a media dictatorship.
