Bad weather situation/ Here's how the situation looks in the country's

The situation created by the rainfall has affected almost the entire territory of the country.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the situation is presented in detail by region, as follows:

Lezha District

Work continues to normalize the situation in the villages of Gjorm, Zhejë, Fushë Mamurras, the Mamurras administrative unit, the Kurbin municipality, and in units where problems have been identified due to yesterday's rainfall.

Field workers are monitoring the situation in the village of Jezull, Rrëshen Administrative Unit, in the village of Kodër Rrëshen, where a house is at risk from a landslide.

Water levels in the Drin and Mat rivers are within quotas.

Durres District

The situation in the administrative units of Sukth, Katund i Ri and Ishëm is moving towards normalization, with water being withdrawn from the affected areas.

The water level in the Erzen and Ishëm rivers is within normal limits. The dams in Porto Romano and Hamallaj continue to operate at full capacity.

Kukes District

The situation is under full monitoring by local authorities and contracting entities, which have cleared all national road axes, guaranteeing their access for vehicles.

Shkodra District

After tireless work by the forces on the ground, the road in the Theth-Ndërlysaj segment in the Shala administrative unit has been unblocked.

Work is also being done on the Ndërlysaj-Breg-Rumi segment.

Vlora Region

Delvina Municipality: In Kalasa and Bistrica, the rivers have receded, clearing the road of water.

Traffic is now normalized in Shelegar and Krane.

In the village of Dermish, Finiq municipality, two elderly people were evacuated due to the presence of water in their home.

The contracting company is working to clean the Brataj-Kuç road, in the village of Brataj, Selenica municipality.

12 Armed Forces personnel, 4 motor pumps and 1 rubber boat have been deployed to the municipality of Vlora for support.

Fier District

Referring to the data on the flows of the Vjosa River, at the Përmet - Memaliaj measurement point, a rapid increase in the intensity of flows in the Vjosa River, at the Mifoli Bridge measurement point, has been observed. Therefore, the readiness of the operational structures to manage any possible situation has been increased.

Near critical points, heavy-duty vehicles, 5 scrapers/scrapers and high-lift vehicles have been deployed.

Elbasan District

Work continues to clear inert materials on the Elbasan-Peqin road segment, in the place called "Murraç" and on the Elbasan-Librazhd segment.

In the village of Kerpicë, near Adm. Kushovo, the Gramsh municipality is monitoring the situation on the Kerpicë River, which is at risk of overflowing its bed, creating protection for 8 homes that could be at risk from the river's waters.

Berat District

About 20 hectares of olive grove plots in the "Lopari" and "Selamaj" neighborhoods, in the village of Veterrik, Velabisht administrative unit, Berat Municipality, have the presence of water, due to the outflow of the Osum River.

Korca District

In the village of Sanjollas, Barmash administrative unit, Kolonjë municipality, the situation was normalized, with the unblocking of septic tanks and the cleaning of inert materials, the danger to homes was avoided.

Gjirokaster District

There is water on the city's urban roads, but without causing traffic jams. Lake Viroi is approaching the critical point, but is being monitored. In the adm. unit Lazarat, Lazarat village, in the lower neighborhood of the village there is flooding from the stream that descends from the Sopot mountain, as well as in Kordhoce on the Gjirokastër-Kakavijë road axis there is increased water presence. Field teams are working. On the Gjirokastër-Valare axis there is water presence in a place called Aznak, where passage is only possible with high-altitude vehicles.

In the municipality of Libohova, the blockage of the Suhë-Poliçan road axis, at the place called Shkëmbi Dallëndyshes, remains problematic. The stream of the village of Labovë has also increased its flow. Municipal forces are working on the ground.

Dibër District

Work has been done throughout the region to stabilize the situation created by the heavy rainfall, especially in the Zall-Dardhe administrative unit, in the Luzni administrative unit, due to the flows of the Kusare stream, in the Tomin administrative unit, the village of Zdojan, in Arras, in the village of Ketë of the Xibër unit, in the village of Bershi in Klos, in the village of Kujtim, in the village of Kurdari, etc., where there have been problems with the roads.

In the Mat municipality, work is underway to remove water from the first floors of the schools; "Mustafa Gjestila" and "28 Nëntori" as well as in several apartments.

Work continues in Fushë Baz, the "Nelaj" neighborhood, where stream flows have blocked roads.

The Mat municipality has made available 2 fire engines, 3 fire trucks and 5 transport vehicles, as well as over 40 municipal forces to manage the situation. National road axes are passable as normal./CNA
