The trial for Mediu is postponed again/ It is revealed when the next hearing will be held

The court hearing for former minister Fatmir Mediu has been postponed again.

Today it was expected to give a claim for the former minister, but GJKKO has decided to postpone the session, to June 7 at 2:00 p.m.

It is learned that the reason for the postponement of the session was the absence of the former minister's lawyers.

The Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime accuses Mediu of "abuse of duty" and "abuse of duty in cooperation with military command staff" regarding the Gërdec explosion file.

We remind you that Mediu has requested a summary trial, but SPAK has not yet announced the claim against the accused.

On the other hand, the lawyers of the former minister Fatmir Mediu have requested that the case be dismissed for the effect of anticipation, since according to them their client has no fault for the state's inaction over the years./ CNA.al
